Awesome food, friendly service, decent prices, quaint, love the old pictures highly recommend u try it breakfast or lunch homemade burgers I've been more than a dozen times and maybe disappointed 3 times but once notified of disappointment was quickly corrected and apologized I still go back so that's saying a lot 😀

Best inexpensive breakfast in Vernon. Very friendly and attentive servers. Had steak (medium rare) and eggs, omelet and French toast. Hash browns cubed and baked, fresh veggie omelet, thick sliced homemade style French bread. Will be back.

Great Spot! The world could do with more owner operated places like this that offer tasty, home style cooking in abundant proportions. The fact that it's located in a heritage building, with an assortment of vintage Vernon pictures on the wall, provides a touch of nostalgia as well. There's a reason that this place fills up fast around mealtime; truly comfort food, at its finest!

Had breakfast, everything was cooked perfect and the staff was very friendly.

This little diner is such a wonderful place for breaky. Its cozy, and everything reminds me of eating at home except I'm not cooking or doing dishes! The service always comes with a smile!! I definitely reccomend having a skillet or the turkey melt. Very very yummy.

Best service AND food anywhere in town! Despite the recent change of ownership. not much has changed. I appreciate the speed, and friendliness from the staff. I have dined in more then 20 times and I can personally tell you that this is the BEST food in town. Will recommend to anyone!

Fantastic diner in the heart of downtown Vernon. Have dined for breakfast/ lunch several times and have never been disappointed. Breakfast special includes coffee for less than $10. Large portions with homemade hash browns, (or half and half option of sliced tomatoes), 2 eggs, 3 pieces of meat and 2 slices of toast. Also tried the burger for lunch and it was most satisfying.

Love this spot it has fantastic food and great service. The owners are really nice and it's a great historic place with hard to beat prices!

Great food, served by a very warm and inviting owner. I would give this place an extra star if I was allowed! Wish I could find a place like this back in Calgary, but will have to wait till my next trip out here to enjoy it again. PS. My kids loved it too :-) keep up the good work.

Good price, good portions and good food. Parking near the restaurant is almost non-existent so be prepared to walk a fair distance from where ever you park.

Perfect small town dinner. Fresh food, home made menu items, gallons of coffee, attentive wait staff and the best cheese biscuits in the universe.

Waited an hour for breakfast with it only 2 tables ahead of us and restaurant nearly empty..staff were apologetic stating they were back up with to go orders. Food arrived cold, bland and tasted overwhelmingly of margarine. Definitely not worth the wait and won't return.

Service alone, was amazing. I’ve literally never wrote a review before but this restaurant deserves it!! I think our server was named Rayne, she was so polite and cheery she really made the atmosphere complete in the restaurant. Food was amazing as well. Great place to stop in while you’re in Vernon BC.

This was such an awesome breakfast. Like homemade momma used to make real cut up potatoes for hashbrowns not frozen deep fried taters! Pancakes even stood out as being really good. Great for a real good breakfast!

Good place for breakfast

This was an amazing find thanks to google maps while driving through Vernon this morning!! 4 of us enjoyed the breakfast special, BLT with cheese and the eggs Benedict poutine!!! Rhonda was our waiter and was friendly with great service!!!

Very first place I ever came to the very first time I ever visited Vernon! I said to my husband that day that I wanted to live here by the time our daughter reached kindergarten. We now have two daughters and have been here 6 years! We go to lunch matters often and they are still as good as that first visit!

My son and I come every Monday at early morning hockey practice. The staff is amazing, good is always hot, fresh and fast! We look forward to coming every week- delicious food with amazing value for dollar and the absolute best service!!

Friendly staff that remembered that we are fairly regular out of town customers that stop by. Since hands changed to new owners you get slightly less food for the same price (I usually order the classic club, has less turkey and bacon on it then it used to have on it, but it still tastes the same.)

I've been here several times and it is bloody slow. It's great for the retired people. If you need breakfast and don't mind waiting 45 minutes this could be a good place for you
